
Wendy Yuwen Wang
Wendy Wang is an actuary in the Life Insurance Consulting Practice of Milliman. She joined the firm in 2020.
Experience
Since joining Milliman, Wendy has primarily focused on modeling and financial reporting for life and annuity products. She has supported a variety of projects, including cash flow testing, reserve analysis, mortality experience studies, model validation, mergers and acquisitions, and nonguaranteed element adjustments for Universal Life products. Wendy is proficient in MG ALFA, Integrate, Excel, and VBA.
Prior to joining Milliman, Wendy worked at a life insurance company in New York. There, she rotated across various actuarial functions and assisted with pricing using Prophet software for life products and developed assumptions for annuity products.
Wendy also served as a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (AAA) Non-Guaranteed Elements Subcommittee and coauthored the AAA practice note to the Actuarial Standard of Practice (ASOP) No.2: Non-Guaranteed Elements for Life and Annuity Products.
